چکیده

The study examined the factors that influence industrialization in Africa using annual panel data from 1990 to 2018. To avoid problems of endogeneity, we employed Two-Stage Least Square (TSLS) approach estimate significant determinants industrialization. We found foreign direct investment, total natural resources, and financial development significantly positively predicted Trade openness had a negative effect on Human capital inflation were not also demonstrate aspect an economy’s ability industrialize is synchronization public policies its external engagements. leverage importance contributions industrialization, governments various African economies should strive augment preserve explore more intensify development.

Linkages Between Non-Income Poverty, Growth and Inequality in Nigeria: A Two Stage Least Square Approach

Poverty alleviation is a major indicator to decide whether economic growth is of benefit to the poor in a society. This study therefore addressed the extent of non-income poverty alleviation between 1999 and 2008, using the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) data. The fuzzy method and two stage least square approaches were used to analyze the data. The results show that between 1999 and 2003, ...

Fast Least Square Matching

Least square matching (LSM) is one of the most accurate image matching methods in photogrammetry and remote sensing. The main disadvantage of the LSM is its high computational complexity due to large size of observation equations. To address this problem, in this paper a novel method, called fast least square matching (FLSM) is being presented. The main idea of the proposed FLSM is decreasing t...

A Projected Alternating Least square Approach for Computation of Nonnegative Matrix Factorization

Nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) is a common method in data mining that have been used in different applications as a dimension reduction, classification or clustering method. Methods in alternating least square (ALS) approach usually used to solve this non-convex minimization problem.  At each step of ALS algorithms two convex least square problems should be solved, which causes high com...
